Easy and quick apple strudel

I am from the east of France, and I also lived in Switzerland a bit, and these two places have this pastry specialty in common, even if it originally came from Austria.
- Puff pastry or shortcrust pastry
- 40g of coconut sugar
- 3 small pears or 2 normal pears
- 50g of butter
- 2 apples
- 100g raisins
- Egg yolk
The Strudel recipe
Peel and dice the apples
You have different ways of doing it. Either as on the video, half and two small portions, either divided into 4 individual portions, or whole for a dessert with friends or let yourself be taken by your creativity
Start by putting small cubes of butter. When cooked, it will caramelize with sugar
Arrange apples, nuts and grapes. (You will have previously reduced the nuts into small pieces)
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. If you don’t like cinnamon, don’t put cinnamon 🙂
Close the dough. If necessary, stretch the delicately.
With a brush, spread the egg yolk on the dough for a nice caramelization
Bake for 20-25 minutes at 160 °. Always check your doneness.
For more indulgence, you can accompany it with a scoop of ice cream of your choice. I recommend vanilla, but everyone has their own taste.
